Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Theology (B.A. Hons. Theo.)

This is a four-year, full-time general theological degree. The programme is offered in semester format offered at the TCZ campus in a blended format of both on-line and face-to-face instruction. It is affiliated under ZOU and accredited by ACTEA (the Association for Christian Theological Education in Africa). Graduates may thus pursue post-graduate studies on any continent. It is designed for those called to vocational ministry in the local church or para-church ministries, or to ministry in the marketplace, and whose leadership and skills requirements are more demanding than those of the regular diploma programme.In addition to the core curriculum, students are required to do a year of ministry internship in their third year. The programme comprises of six courses each semester, one of which is a choice of two electives in the second and fourth years (i.e. a total of four electives).

POST-GRADUATE ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES Bachelor of Arts Special Honours in Theology (B.A. Sp. Hons. Theo.)

This is a one-year taught programme with a post-graduate emphasis in the disciplines of Theology, Biblical Studies (Old & New Testaments), Practical Theology, and Mission, designed to offer additional training for qualified graduates who wish to further their studies for personal benefit or as preparation for Master’s studies. The programme includes a year-long research project. Applicants must have a recognised and relevant, (i.e. Theology, Biblical Studies, Religious Studies or related discipline) undergraduate degree with an average grade of 65% or more to qualify.
